INTRODUCTION

HELLO & WELCOME
I created this blog problem by problem as I went through my Physics 2 class during the Fall of 2014. I've learned over the course of my career in higher learning that one of the best ways for me to learn material is by attempting to 'teach' it to someone else. Since I can't literally find a person who will sit down with me for hours on end and listen to me rant back and forth about physics, I decided to simply develop a small blog that is dedicated to the processes of solving these problems.

I urge you to actually pay attention to the way in which the problems are solved. I understand that it is tempting to simply find the answer, put it in, and get credit or maybe plug your values into my final formula and get your answer, but you don't learn anything by doing that. Instead, try to follow along and learn how and why I did what I did. This should result in a higher grade on not only your homework, but also your final exam!

Thank you so much for your interest and attention, enjoy!

ORGANIZATION OF POSTS
All of the posts will be organized in three ways.
  1. The first way will be the archive, or the date in which they were published. This is the least productive as well as the least organized way. The other two ways are preferred.
  2. The second will be by tags. In each post, as I go through, I will tag the chapter that the problem comes from, the subjects and theories the problem uses, and also the type of answer the problem is looking for; i.e. velocity or frequency.
  3. The last way will be by chapter in the pages section. This will be on the right hand side of the webpage no matter what post or area of the site you are on. It will read from top to bottom by consecutive chapter numbers and will also include the title of the chapter. I have realized that some people's MasteringPhysics uses different chapter numbers for different titles, simply refer to the title of the chapter in this case and you should be on the right track.

SETUP OF POSTS
Each post will have the following elements highlighted:
INTRO: [if given in problem]
Part X: [where X represents the letter of the part]
SOLUTION:
answer [where 'answer' is the literal answer to the problem]
